This rural setting Bellingen homestead underwent a re-organisation of amenities: bathrooms, laundry, storage areas and kitchen.  The kitchen, a sophisticated study into balancing a contemporary and classic aesthetic in terms of proportioning and material/method of hand paint finishes to approximate something ‘timeless’.  The bench tops were finished with an Azul Bahia Brazilian granite.
